In this course, students will learn in detail how to conduct a site survey for the planning of a WLAN. They will explore WLAN topologies for voice and data as well as location appliance services, and they will examine design strategies, including Cisco WCS planning tool, Cisco Spectrum Expert, and AirMagnet Survey Pro. Project management and methodologies are part of the curriculum as well. Hands-on labs reinforce the classroom instruction.

This course is suitable for planners, consultants and administrators tasked with performing or overseeing site surveys for WLAN solution implementations.
Knowledge Prerequisites
Students need a working knowledge of Cisco IOS and WLAN. Those wishing to achieve the CCNP Wireless certification need a valid CCNA Wireless certification.
