The course at hand addresses technically-oriented employees responsible for the design, distribution, installation, and performance of site surveys for the sector 802.11 wireless LAN solutions. The seminar presents the devices and the concepts of the autonomous and lightweight access points. Moreover, it imparts a clear-cut concept of the WLAN technology as the basis for the applications and of the security aspects. Additionally, the course provides an introduction into the configuration of the devices. An important component of the network design consists of the techniques of the site survey for 802.11 wireless LAN implementations. After the course, the participants will be able to configure all basic features of the Cisco Aironet environment and have acquired the necessary know-how about site survey. In connection with the CWLAT course, the seminar treats the topics relevant for the examinations as Cisco Advanced WLAN Field Specialist (642-631 AWLANFE) and as Cisco Advanced WLAN Design Specialist (642-681 AWLANSE).
