This course teaches students how to effectively use the CiscoWorks applications in Cisco-based LANs. The focus is on finding the correct tools within CiscoWorks to document the network, log changes that occur, deploy global changes to devices, monitor network performance, and manage network faults. The theory will be explained by means of the original Cisco documentation which is currently based on LMS 3.1. The trainer shows the differences to LMS 4.x and thus enables the students to apply the contents to LMS 4.x, too. The students decide individually whether they would like to do the exercises with LMS 4.x or 3.x.
