Target Group
This course is designed for those individuals who require an in-depth understanding of the OSPF protocol and how it is implemented on Extreme Networks switches. This course provides the necessary skills and information required by those individuals responsible for the installation, configuration, management, maintenance, and support of the Extreme Networks switches in an OSPF environment.
Knowledge Prerequisites
Students need the ENA certification or equivalent skills and experience. ExtremeXOS: Operations and Configuration is recommended as a preparation. Good knowledge of LAN fundamentals is required. Additionally, students need good knowledge of TCP/IP, IP addressing, and static and dynamic routing, and they have to be familiar with Layer 3 routing and OSPF protocol theories. The following trainings are recommended as a prerequisite: TCP/IP - Protocols, Addressing, Routing and State-of-the-Art IP Routing.
