The ExtremeXOS Implementing Advanced Security (EIAS) training course provides instructor-led lectures and laboratory exercises. The course presents concepts and commands required to secure Extreme Networks switches and control traffic within a network. This course is a prerequisite for ENS Level certification.

Target Group
The primary audience for this course is network switch administrators tasked with securing and controlling the traffic in an Extreme Networks switch environment.

Knowledge Prerequisites
Students need the ENA certification or equivalent skills and experience. ExtremeXOS: Operations and Configuration is recommended as a preparation. Additionally, solid theoretical and practical understanding of networking basics, TCP/IP addressing, subnet masks, bridging, and other LAN fundamentals is required as well as hands-on experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Extreme Networks switches.
