From the central railway station Duesseldorf, take the streetcar Linie 6 (S6) in the direction of Essen up to the station Rath. You can obtain detailed information from the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr (Transit and Traffic Association). From the station Rath, turn left and go through the pedestrian tunnel.
